I asked just for the house itself not the land or any of the prep costs. This means that they can charge a huge premium on a home that may cost the same to be built in a less desirable area. So they would charge me more for living in Fort Mill or South Park for example then they would charge me for an area where the prices in the developments are a lot lower. So because of this they could not give me a base price of a home. He then said Im telling you right now we wont build a home for under $300,000.
